so, i just got an e-mail with pictures of the cutest nursery you ever did see. Funny thing is, the mom-to-be is due the same week we are expecting our child... So for contrast, i would like to post the pictures of our nursery. I'll call them "before" shots... in hopes that sometime over the next couple of months i can post one incredible transformation for you all. This room has been in one short year: master bedroom (temporary), office, music room, guest room, storage room, to now "junk catch all"... yes, i am ashamed to admit, we still do occasionally let a very close friend or family member crash in this chaos.
exhibit A (above) "a crib full of junk" - Right wall
exhibit B (above) "music equip., possible changing table, xtra tv" - Left wall
exhibit C (above) "anyone want an overstuffed recliner?" - closet & entry wall
exhibit D (above) "this really will be a great day bed... maybe" - far wall

haha--i can't wait to see the final product! its going to be so great!
I was about to comment on the recliner, something to the effect of, "glad to see my recliner hasn't made it to the basement." When I noticed that it is not my recliner and you are still trying to give it away. If there is someone with a great need for a chair let 'em at it. If not, when we move out of this fully furnished room that we live in we are going to need some furniture.
I'm just impressed that your crib has sheets on it (at least it looks like it might). I just got mine put on this week and I am due in 4 weeks! You've got time :)
Girl, just wait until that nesting instinct sets in...
nesting instinct. Don't count on it. oh, and you really can wait. crib set up--your baby is going to sleep in luxury compared to his pack-n-play relegated cousin.
